Compare Metrics to Previous Period

It would be very helpful if all dashboard metrics could be compared to the previous equivalent period. For example, when viewing data for today, show how each metric has changed versus yesterday; when viewing the last 30 days, show how it compares to the 30 days before that. Ideally, this would include percentage and/or absolute changes, so we can quickly understand trends and performance shifts over time within the same view.
